Review: Isle of Paradise

Fake tan has the ability to make anyone panic on a special occasion. You just never know how it is going to turn out. Will it be too orange? Will it not be dark enough? The worst part is you never really know until it is too late.

For this reason alone, I tend not to fake tan that often. I have to be exceptionally pale or just fancy a bit of extra colour. However, I am pretty sure i’ve found the perfect tan that makes me think (or hope) I will never worry about looking like a cast member of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory again.

Isle of Paradise is the brand launched by tan expert, Jules Von Hep. 100% Vegan, Cruelty-free and Organic this really is a tan with a difference. Not to mention after applying you end up with the most beautiful glow that would fool anyone.

I used the mousse which was really easy to apply and actually didn’t have that horrible fake tan smell. Well as much as others.┬áIt did turn my sheets a little pink but I threw some baking soda in the wash with them and they were bright as new. You don’t have to sleep in it, you only need to wear this tan for 6 hours to reap the rewards of its full power so time it right and you won’t even be near your sheets. However, I chose to sleep in it just incase it had some extra lengths to go.

When it came to it, the tan faded really well. I actually didn’t have to do much to get it off. It just faded within time and actually left me looking brown for a while.

I would 100% recommend trying it if you are in the market for a new fake tan.

Have you tried Isle of Paradise? What did you think?
